Head Coach Kirby Schepp (University of Manitoba) will be joined by assistants Michael Meeks (Canada Basketball), Dan Vanhooren (University of Calgary), and Jason Dawkins (Ontario Basketball).

Canada is in Group C and will face Montenegro, Egypt and New Zealand in the group phase of the tournament, tipping-off against Montenegro on June 30 at 2:15 PM ET.  Click here for the full tournament schedule.

Following pre-competition training in Mexico City, the team will travel to Argentina for additional training from June 23-27 ahead of the FIBA U17 Basketball World Cup 2018.

Last summer, Canada’s U16 team earned a silver medal at the FIBA U16 Americas Championship 2017 in Formosa, Argentina.

Canada is currently ranked 2nd worldwide in the FIBA Youth Men Rankings.
